This quartet has been praised by critics since its debut performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2009, and plays to sold-out houses around the world. James Farm is driven by the conviction that the collective possesses a strength that extends far beyond the individual performances.

Individually, the members are the big jazz stars of their time. Together, they explore their musical futures.

These four musicians strive to combine their virtuosic playing styles with their composing of narrative music. And the result is some of the best that contemporary jazz has to offer: music that is completely aware of, and affected by, the different languages of musical cultures. With an identity that is integrative, forward-thinking, colourfully creative, but also disciplined.

Nefertiti at the Concert Hall

In the concert series Nefertiti at the Concert Hall you will find jazz and cross-border music with international stars in a intimate format. The concerts are arranged in collaboration with the jazz club Nefertiti. The playlist is loaded with the guesting artists season 2018-2019.
