In 2021, the spectacular Swedish-Norwegian trio Groupa turns forty. It celebrates its anniversary with collaborations old and new. During this concert, Groupa is joined on stage by singer Lena Willemark, a key figure in the world of Swedish folk music.

Groupa is one of the biggest names on the scene; since 1981, the trio has been an advocate of Nordic prog-folk . With its trademark mix of ancient melodies, random improv sections, novel compositions and creative instrumentation, the group has left its mark on an entire generation of musicians.

In the spring of 2020, the constantly curious and twice Grammy-winning Groupa released their twelfth album Kind of Folk Vol 3. In the concert with Lena Willemark, older songs, new compositions and anniversary fanfares are performed for this particular constellation.
