We are proud to announce that rock musician, legend and revolutionary Patti Smith is returning to Gothenburg next year!

The last time Patti Smith was in Sweden in 2019, she played in front of a packed audience at the Stockholm Waterfront where both critics and audience agreed – she is completely enchanting.

“Patti Smith is a primal force when she unites music and poetry with maximum empathy.” Aftonbladet wrote about the concert.

Chicago-born Patti Smith needs no further introduction. Already from the first album “Horses” from 1975, she has captivated fans worldwide and has won and been nominated for several different prestigious awards. Among other things, she has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2011 she won the Polar Prize. In 2017, Bob Dylan won the Nobel Prize in Literature but was unable to attend, however Smith was at the Konserthuset in Stockholm and performed Dylan’s song “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” from 1962.
