He is joined onstage by hand-selected musicians, including two leading names in Sweden: trombone player Karin Hammar and legendary drummer Per Lindvall, who has played with everyone from Abba and A-ha to Stevie Wonder.
Together, they have one foot anywhere at all – while the other is firmly planted in jazz, soul and blues. When everyone understands just what the music needs, this endlessly swinging sound could go in any direction.
At the helm is Jakob Manz, one of the most promising young saxophone players in Germany and Europe, known for his impressive technique and melodic, David Sanborn-inspired sound.
