Francesca Tandoi is a singer and pianist with a dazzling capacity for life-affirming swing, akin to Oscar Peterson or Monty Alexander. She is a melodic composer and a brilliant soloist. She leads her own trio here, with bass player Matheus Nicolaiewsky and drummer Sander Smeets.
In just a few years, Francesca Tandoi has gone from ultra-talented to world class. Indeed, jazz pianist Monty Alexander has noted her as a “tasteful pianist, exquisite singer, and composer of memorable songs in thought-provoking arrangements.”
