Göteborgs Konserthus Master Class: Young Conductors

Five young conductor talents are coached by internationally known conductor Rumon Gamba from the UK. For three days, they hone their skills and test their progress with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.

Young Conductors is a part of the Gothenburg Symphony’s youth activities and is carried out in collaboration with the Norwegian Dirigentløftet. This year’s participants are Gudrun Dahlkvist and Andreas P Hansson from Sweden and Daniel Reith, Eirik Haukaas Ødegaard and Aage Richard Meyer from Norway.

Gothenburg Symphony’s many years of work with choir and orchestra for young people – Sportlovsorkestern, Höstlovskören, Side by Side by El Sistema – receives a long-awaited addition at an advanced level with Young Conductors.
