Meet the orchestra, which consists of musicians from the master’s program in symphonic orchestral performance at the University of Music and Drama. Each academic year, the University of Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra performs a series of productions with internationally renowned conductors and soloists.
In this concert, we get to hear the vibrant Piano Concerto No. 3 by Beethoven. Soloist is Signe Olofsson. After the break we are treated with the magnificent Mahler “Titan” Symphony, a true classic in symphonic repertoire. Jurjen Hempel is conducting.
The program is arranged in collaboration with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Opera.
