Lars Danielsson & Liberetto
Not just one of Sweden’s foremost bass players. Also composer, arranger and producer. Frontman in a number of jazz groups – and soloist in his own orchestral works. Regardless, Lars Danielsson is always rooted within the broad boundaries of jazz.
In the quartet Liberetto, Lars Danielsson uses his entire wide palette. With light brushstrokes, he sketches new worlds in the borderland between jazz, classical and folk music. Fellow musicians are Grégory Privat, piano, John Parricelli, guitar and Magnus Öström, drums, tonight reinforced by Norwegian Arve Henriksen on trumpet.
