It is about our fragile earth and the fragile hope we have for our future.
Join us for a breathtaking experience when five prominent composers from all Nordic countries present new commissioned music about the great challenge of our time. With the music as company, we are lured along to dramatic landscapes in the projections that fill the Great Hall this evening. With the camera as a weapon, Joakim Odelberg has gone on a campaign to defend our vulnerable nature.
Daníel Bjarnason (Iceland), Miho Hazama (Denmark), Mats Larsson Gothe (Sweden), Maja S.K Ratkje (Norway) and Outi Tarkiainen (Finland) all belong to a group of the Nordic countries’ most prominent contemporary composers. With inspiration from Nordic nature, they shine a light on the sensitive resources we must nurture for the future.

Take a seat in the Great Hall one hour before the concert begins and learn more about the music you will soon experience! You will get the stories behind the music, knowledge of the composers and own reflections about the classical pieces. The introduction last for about 30 minutes, it is free and free seating in the hall. Warm welcome!
