The young shooting star Finnegan Downie Dear from England leads the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in George Benjamin’s atmospheric A Mind of Winter, to lyrics by Wallace Stevens.

In the coldness of January, the mysterious snowman has the ability to appreciate the sun, the whistling wind and the sound of rustling leaves. Soloist is soprano Olivia Warburton who has been praised for her interpretations on London’s opera stages.
