Danielsson Double Concerto for cor-anglais and cello/double-bass

The jazz bass-player and composer Lars Danielsson has written a piece for Gothenburg Symphony’s Björn Bohlin, cor-anglais, with the composer playing a part for cello/double-bass – a truly creative performing musician.

Regarding sounds, rhythms and colours, composers like Debussy and Ravel and innovators such as Gil Evans and Joe Zawinul have made impressions on Lars Danielsson. The Double Concerto is both sensitive and filled with energy (joy!), with an innate ability to captivate the listener.
