Sarah Klang & Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra
In Sarah Klang’s deeply personal pop music, there is a blend of vulnerability, strength, and a generous dose of humour. After touring around Europe, performing in the USA and at Way Out West, it was time for the incomparable Sarah Klang to connect with her home audience in Gothenburg in a new way.
In February 2025, she presented her music in a new, irresistible arrangements together with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
The evening was a dramatic journey where Klang guided the audience through her four acclaimed albums – from her debut, Love in the Milky Way, which music journalist Jan Gradvall called “The best Swedish debut album I’ve ever heard,” to the Grammy-winning follow-ups Creamy Blue and VIRGO. The evening culminated with brand new material from the upcoming album Beautiful Woman, which Sarah has been working on in Los Angeles together with Eric D Johnson (Fruit Bats/Bonny Light Horseman). Enjoy an exclusive evening with rarely performed material and Sarah Klang’s most beloved songs. The arrangements are by Martin Schaub and the conductor is Christoffer Nobin.
The concert was recorded in the Gothenburg Concert Hall in February, 2025.
