Bruckner: Symphony No. 7
A heartfelt tribute to Richard Wagner
Bruckner’s symphonies are unique creations, enormous works spreading out in time and space. Often described as “cathedrals of sound”, the music stretches from nearly inaudible whispers to huge orchestral climaxes that make the walls of the concert halls rattle. The seventh symphony is among his very finest and most popular, a musical journey to secret worlds. The Adagio was written as a homage to Richard Wagner.
